-People are also tweeting about BBQs or other gathering that offer food support and shelter

How do people use the twitter functions?

-Use the hash key to create groups

-Put links on their tweets that might be websites that help fund raise or other things like what to do to survive in a situation like this.

- People also use Twitter to get opinions or advice e.g. where to go to dinner in Auckland, what is there to do in Paris etc

Why is twitter good in a crisis?

When the phone coverage goes down you can connect with the people in danger. Unlike a text or a status in face book when you tweet it can be seen by everybody in the world and get the message out to others a lot faster.

Compare it with Face book.

Twitter is very open when you tweet the whole world can access it and comment which really opens up opportunities, where as face book it doesn’t give you a lot of accessibility and you don’t have nearly as much control over what you can see.

The woman in the video we watched in class today about gamers was basically trying to say that if all the people in the world used the attitude they use when they are gaming to actual situations or problems in real life we would accomplish a lot more as humans.

dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface.

Display Monitor: monitor or display (sometimes called a visual display unit) is
an electronic visual display for computers. The monitor comprises the display
device, circuitry, and an enclosure.

Disk Drive: A hard disk drive
 (HDD) is a non-volatile, random access device for
digital data. It features rotating rigid platters on a motor-driven spindle within a
protective enclosure. Data is magnetically read from and written to the platter
by read/write heads that float on a film of air above the platters
